Location: Albury and Wodonga
Annual Salary: $75,000

We are seeking people who have a genuine passion for the Vision of Lifeline Albury Wodonga – An Australia Free of Suicide. Our team understand and value the incredible contribution that our volunteers make to the organisation and the wider community.

This role supports Lifeline Albury Wodonga’s fundraising and marketing campaigns. This role will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of key marketing and fundraising campaigns. The successful candidate will be required to manage yearly events, develop, implement, and evaluate fundraising & marketing campaigns.  

Lifeline’s major sources of funding include on-going funding from the Victorian and NSW governments, and independent funds generated through its recycled clothing stores and local donations.

Key Accountabilities Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns
  • Assist to develop and coordinate volunteer recruitment campaigns including marketing collateral, information packs, etc. 
  • Establish and manage relevant databases.
  • Undertake administrative tasks related to marketing projects such as detailed briefs, project timelines, briefing documentation, detailed run schedules, etc.
  • Maintain website and social media platforms. 

Fundraising

  • Assist to develop and coordinate local fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Develop all documentation required, including detailed briefs, speech notes, project timelines, briefing documentation, detailed run schedules, etc.
  • Assist with the development of fundraising submissions.
  • Create and manage relevant databases such as community database, marketing databases and donor databases. 

Key Selection Criteria 

  • Marketing, events, or fundraising experience essential (minimum 2 years) ideally within the health or not-for-profit sector or equivalent.
  • Proficient, knowledge of database applications and document presentation, email, internet, and website skills.
  • Experience in managing events, marketing campaigns, and/or fundraising initiatives including community-led events and annual events calendar.
  • Demonstrate ability to actively promote a culture of philanthropy and best-practice fundraising, creating opportunities to recognise the generosity of our community through events and community fundraising and share/celebrate the impact. 
  • Excellent written, verbal and computer literacy skills (including use of Microsoft suite) with the ability to exercise initiative when required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as working independently. 

Desirable 

  • Qualifications in Events Management, Fundraising, Project Management, Marketing or similar
